There are numerous resources for a breast cancer patient these days, particularly in a metroplex the size of Dallas-Ft Worth. Rather than attempt to list them all, or duplicate lists that exist already, we have noted below a few that are programs we have worked with directly or with whom some of our patients have worked.

• FORCE - Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered - a hereditary breast and ovarian cancer organization. From the FORCE website there is a "FORCE Community" icon to locate area support groups.



• Young Survival Coalition - An organization formed to provide a community for the young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. There is a new local support group for which you can get information by emailing dburns@ssplano.com.
